I'm running on linux, xp2400, what can I expect for time to complete a work unit?

For Einstein@Hone I think each WU takes around 8 hours, give or take an hour.

its around that, depending on the WU given possibly 6 hours if you are lucky - remember you dont get actual credit until someone else also does the same work unit and they 2 can be validated against each other. until then you have pending credit.

Hmmmm....... not good. My times are running much longer than that. I guess the systems would be contributing better on rc5 than einstein. Was just curious so I have three systems grinding. Two work units finished, but they don't show up on my account yet.
I went through an agonizing beta period on astropulse and seti with boinc on linux. Every now and then I go back and run something to see how it goes. But I can't honestly say that I'm impressed with it in the positive sense :(

^^ 72CJ5 if you are happier with RC5 then i would do that. you were getting some impressive scores and from what you say it would seem that is more suited to your processor.
