I am just realizing that my R9 270 is really struggling with some projects. Looking at this web link I have been swayed in this direction by PrimeGrid actually looking to improve a sub performer, if that's possible. The link I am referring to is here (http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/opencl-zone/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/):
So many ways to improve my performance, I just need NeoGen to stay out of this improvement so I can catch him once again!

Buy a R9 280 or better: a R9 280X

I'm sorry taking your spot Nflight :icon_mrgreen:
I put my Radeon 7970 at full blast on Primegrid with an appconfig prepared to run a whole bunch of tasks in parallel to see how it would behave.
It seems to work well on regular Genefer, even with up to 30 at a time, although the total time for all of them is really slow. My mistake was trying to mix in Genefer WR workunits, they are so much more computing intensive that I don't think I have enough time to finish them now, they are going to go over the deadline.
I wasn't getting that many credits until today apparently, since you mentioned Primegrid I looked it up on Boincsynergy (http://www.boincsynergy.com/stats/teams.php?team=14&project=mah) and WOW! I just dumped 250K worth in a day :icon_eek: But that's just because I had so many running in parallel that they all got finished and uploaded simultaneously. Now I'm going to be on a dry spell for a while again. :icon_rolleyes:
EDIT: I don't see how the AMD APP SDK can improve performance of the GPU... I already have the latest drivers. Does it offer something else?
