So I started my campaign on Indiegogo (http://igg.me/at/Margenergy) Sunday March 1st, 2015. Since than I have been sitting here with only a fan roaring in the foreground. In the background I asked my tech nerd hardware builder of my system to set up a system so that I would know when someone would ping my system. Well it occurs and quite literally every 20 minutes or so. The audible sounds is quite small. But I have been wondering just why is this occurring and who is behind such activity. Lucky for me the system stops the ping from responding so the end result is a no reply ping. I don't know how my computer guru did this but it is fascinating none the least. ( And he won't share the details either but, he stated that I am not the only one asking for this activity)!

Anyone else know how this is done?

Can it be done using Bping (http://gizmoware.net/bping/)?

I would like to have one of those but at firewall level, I'm running PfSense but I don't think I've ever seen any of their third party packages that would do that.

But then again, I don't know if the constant beeping wouldn't become annoying though... :icon_lol:
