BOINCStats has retired -or is about to- the following projects recently:

ABC@Home
AlmereGrid Boinc Grid
AlmereGrid Testgrid
Beal@Home
Climate@Home
DistrRTgen
IBERCIVIS
IGEM@Home
OProject@Home
OPTIMA@Home
QMC@Home
Renderfarm.fi
RiojaScience
Russian Words Compatibility
Spatiotemporal Quality of Service (QOS)
VGTU project@Home

One can only hope that some of these projects will see it as an incentive to show a sign of life again...

Some of those I think are definitely retired, and others didn't even take off... but there's a few there which their websites are still up just not been providing work in a long time, they should really wake up and start going again.

From the looks of it I would say IBERCIVIS is still alive and kicking.
Just not very active (http://boincstats.com/en/stats/72/project/detail/lastDays)

The guys at CERN -who seem to be oblivious of the concept 'subproject'- have launched yet another project:

CERN CMS-dev (http://boincai05.cern.ch/CMS-dev/)

Those eggheads already had

LHC@Home Classic (http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/)
vLHCathome (http://lhcathome2.cern.ch/vLHCathome/)
Atlas@Home (http://atlasathome.cern.ch/ATLAS/)
Beauty@LHC (http://lhcbathome.cern.ch/Beauty/)
LHC Dev@Home (http://boincai05.cern.ch/CMS-dev/)

As it turns out they 'only' have five projects, as CERN CMS-dev is just another name for LHC Dev@Home...
