server migration information
We'll be beginning the server migration tomorrow morning, redirecting volunteer.cs.und.edu to the new server. I expect the process to be completed by Friday. I will be taking down all the webpages on the old server tomorrow, so if you cannot connect to our webpages that is why. It will take awhile for the redirection of the domain name to point to the new server, so while that is happening you can track the progress of the move on the new server, which you can get to by it's IP address during the transition: http://134.129.210.115. Once I take down the webpages on the old server I'll begin moving the database over to the new server and bringing all the webpages and BOINC daemons back online. If you have any questions during the process feel free to email me at tdesell@cs.und.edu, as the forums will most likely not be working.
