EDIT: No ATI WUs at least, I don't have my prefs set to accept CPU WUs, so there may be those? Their server status page seems to show WUs ready to send, but that may be CPU only or just the page not updated yet.

I am showing >400,000 work units available. If they don't last too long it will be amazing to see them gone quickly. They were off line for way too long for quick responses to remove so many so fast. Yes I saw this project back online and decided to keep my post as best I can NeoGen. Sneaking up on me isn't nice without a fight! Am I going to have to Huff and Puff and Blow you off course?

If you were able to retrieve some CPU WU's you are better than I. I left my CPU's empty overnight and I could shoot myself in the foot for that really bites me where the sun doesn't shine! NO CPU work for me just crunching GPU stuff now for the reason I stopped in all this flurry of GPU work is about to end too: http://gerasim.boinc.ru/users/server_status.aspx With more than 99% of the Work Units completed its back to they're hiding place once more. Or maybe they can make more quicker and be back up sooner than before! Who Knows !!

Well that is enough of that, for one days work I might reach 3,000 points. For one hour and 32 minutes I produce 4,400 points with Einstein, and at least I understand what Einstein is accomplishing. I still have not figured out what Gerasim is up too! I blew a Bok for that episode but I blew up most of my lead with Trigggl's too. Life is life, accomplish what you can when you can I have started to say!

I'm thinking of stopping Gerasim myself soon, I've noticed that my bandwidth usage has gone way up in these last few days and the only new thing I started crunching was really Gerasim.
I have to watch myself with a 300Gb/month limit and I'm up to 78% already this month, I'm going to try keeping it just a couple more days to reach the 6 digits club, and then stop it until June.

Is it just me, or is the program not able to detect an IGP -the GPU that is inside a modern CPU?
My Socket 155 i7-3770 and Socket AM1 Athlon 5350 both gave -in the last run- nothing but errors saying 'GPU not detected'.
Previously these boxes did run the app, under BOINC client 7.6.9.

What GPU are you using? According to the Gerasim project two HD 7850/7870s. These are discrete GPUs, My A8-3820 does not have a problem either as it is coupled to a discrete HD 6670.

But my i7-3770 and my Athlon 5350, both running only with their intenal graphics -respectively an Intel HD 4000 and an AMD Kalindi/HD 8400-, have the problem that their GPU part does not get detected by the Gerasim app. The Gerasim project itself has no problem seeing these GPUs.

this strenghtens my suspicion that the Gerasim application does not 'see' an IGP...

The Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 -the GPU part of my i7-3770- gave the same errors, but that Win 8.1 system has other problems too (such as not being able to install the 2013 C++ redistributable and not being able to update itself to Windows 10).

While "Send work: Disabled" - this does not apply to administrators and app authors.
They should have the opportunity to test the added work before permit send task for everyone.
Now loading tasks allowed for all. Possibly up until E.Vatutin not add their tasks for app spstarter(within 2-3 weeks).

Something is wrong with the scoring, I have been active for nearly 3 hours now and my points have not risen at all. No points values for work completed, no additional waiting to be validated either, so now we wait to see if SerVal can solve the dilemma !!

Remove the XML document file and try and see if you can retrieve work units that way! Wait you have a xml file that has more then 128 lines to it, what did you do write a book?

Errh.... what xml file? Not global_prefs.xml from the boinc data directory, that affects *ALL* projects....all 42+ projects I run (that's why it is so long)
By removing the project the projects sub-directory was totally cleaned-out, so no *.xml there to remove
