Remind everyone that the site is :
http://lattice.umiacs.umd.edu/boinc_public/

And that it's a project still in alpha stage. And by what is said in their forums when they reach beta stage they'll reset everyone's scores, because of the serious problem they had with zero credit workunits, so everyone will start over equal again.

And by the way, here's our team:

Ranked 21 now total credit :D . Shall I add it to the stats (after we reach top 20?)....or wait a while.

I'd say wait a bit more until they reach beta stage... that's when they'll reset the stats.

And to anyone interested I leave a warning... The current CNS workunits being distributed take up about an hour and more than 500 Megs of ram while crunching. If you only have 512 Megs in the pc you might get slowdowns/out of memory errors/etc.

"The Lattice Project is developing a community-based Grid system that integrates Grid middleware technologies and widely used life science applications."

I guess it's a biomedical project like wcg or grid.org, but it's spread out in all directions of research... judging by the number of applications they have (from which only a small portion has been seen running on boinc yet, but in theory almost all of them will)
Check here for their list of apps:
