Just happened upon the beta section over at FAH and saw they have a beta client in testing. Apparently with previous versions of FAH (including 3.24), if you used the -forceasm switch, it would only apply to the first work unit after starting the client. Kinda disappointing, but eh.

Try this client 3.25 beta (http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandegroup/beta/beta.html)

THIS BETA WILL NOT EXPIRE.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
RECENT CHANGES (Client) - from 3.24 Release:

3.25 beta (unmarked)
--------------------
- If -forceasm is used, then on every execution of the core until the
client is restarted, SSE optimizations will be used if possible (if
the chip is an AMD chip, then be default, without the flag, it would
not be chosen over 3DNow). Prior to this client, this effect would have
held true only for the first work unit run after starting the client

The linux client only comes in "A" version which means it won't work in newer distros at this time and 3.25 probly never will be released from the info I got 3.26 will be the next final version released plus it will have a few new features but the pande group is being secretive to what they are going to be. The best work around at the moment for linux is to run the 3.25 windows console from wine.
