What is the Mandrake 9.1 equivalent of Window's command chkdsk /f

I believe it is fsck

which stands for file system check


I am pretty sure that you can only get dependable results on a partition that is unmounted though

Don't use it much here with ext3

If this is wrong somebody please correct me.
