Will SETI Classic & Boinc merge or run in parallel?

Since SETI@Home has recently reset their original url to point at their new SETI Boinc homepage, I was curious as to their intent.

I'm already on AMDUsers Seti Boinc, but wondered if there would continue to be two Seti teams?

The classic seti was supposed to have been shut down since a long time ago, but they have managed to keep it up yet since there are plenty of problems with boinc all the time and the thousands of seti users are not too keen with the change.
Maybe now it really is going to shut down soon...

Here is the actual message posted at the SetiBoinc site http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/

"June 1, 2005
We are switching the http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ URL to point here. The SETI@home Classic web site has been moved to http://seticlassic.ssl.berkeley.edu."

I assume that attrition will eventually settle it. But yes the SetiBoinc site has been offline half the time in the last two weeks when I've tried to update there.
