Just a Heads-Up for everyone - Team ExtremeDC is gaining on us in RSAttack576. They are about 7-8000 behind us but closing fast. They are doing about 6-9000 a day more than us.
If anyone can spare a PC RSAttack576 needs help.

Athlons are much better at this thing than the P4s.

I stopped all my machines on it. I stopped caring if they took us over on that project. What should we do next? We suck so bad in seti...
Don't top teams send each other almost completed WUs?

Heck we'd have to gain 5,000 places just for a measly .03 points, seems like a waste of time to me.....IMO DF is like kicking a dead horse too. I see there are some more projects at the repository now, like we didnt have enough to choose from before........ Whats everyone running at the moment?

I switched my computers to "Grid On Tap". Its not on the repository yet... but it is a new project and I am running near the top right now.
Zeta would be good for running or Life Mapper. We would have a good chance in both of those. Chessbrain is a good one to run on the side.

I checked out Gimps (www.mersenne.org) but it takes crazy long to do. Also, a p4 compared to an AMD with the same clock speed....p4 is way faster b/c of sse2. 7-8 hours faster.
So I really don't like that project.

Have Chessbrain fixed the issue where it just stops running for no apparent reason?

I am not sure about what happened on your system with chessbrain... I havent had any trouble with it on either one of mine. You might just want to make sure that the priority's of the tasks are equal or give chessbrain a higher priority so when it needs to do something it can get some cpu power.
