One after another my Linux boxes are failing me after an update today "Activation of network connection failed"...
Nine Linux systems so far. Windows systems on the same switch remained connected at first, but are failing now, too.
It looks like the update enabled some IP6 setting, without the rest of the network being prepared for it.
The solution turned out to be (for the main system that I run Prime Grid on) to disable IP6 and to manually configure IP4.
