I have finally ordered my new computer.

AMD 64 3700+ 939 SanDiego Core
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
1 GB Corsair Ultra Low Latency Dual Channel memory kit
160GB SATA 2.0 HDD
eVGA Geforce 6800 GT 256mb DDR3 PCI-E
Koolance PC-720BK water-cooled case
Danger Den TDX waterblock

Now I have to play the waiting game for it to get here!

Well, I have the hdd, power supply, case fans, and waterblock.

The case comes in today. I'll hook it up to the waterblock to ensure no leaks.

Then, Friday, the cpu, mb, ram, and gfx should come in.

dimes, wp, tkc are up there.
but for the crunch...
do you want to take back your RC5-72 title on the leaderboard?
give DPAD a thorough seing to ?
(I'll represent Lagu for a moment and say...) you could do a comparison with some of the other x64s on D2OL?

I'm drooling too.

I'll wait for XP Pro 64 to finalise then look for 64 bit DCs

I hope so.

We'll see.

I've just hooked up the CPU block from DangerDen to the Koolance case.

So far, so good. No leaks!

One thing though. Neither the CPU block nor the Case came with hose clamps. So, in order to secure the tubing to the CPU block, I went to the local auto store and purchased some o-clamps.

Worked great.

Try D20L so we can catch Team Ninja so it louds on it. AMDave is right I'm the D2OL ambassador and am no 1 in the daily output regarding to MacNN's stats as far. You perhaps can be no 1 with your new Computer :D

Lagu :)

Nice selection of hardware Jeff.

How about some pics as you are building it - especially the watercooling setup.

Jeff

This computer is awesome.

So far, I've only overclocked to 2420mhz.

So far, running smoothly.

According to PC Probe, I'm running at 55 C at full load. Does that seem hot? The koolance temperature probe reads 32C. Are my temps ok?

I'm running D2OL right now, just for Lagu!

Jeff, hot machine! ...Literally, good thing you have the water cooling!

Since HDs are so cheap for older smaller models, consider an 80Gb HD as an easy backup. Then you quickly recover if/when your main drive goes.

Vaughan, impressive stat display! How do you do that?

go to Bok's stats tool at Free-DC (http://www.free-dc.org/statstool.php) and update the fields with the appropriate username info or in some cases the appropriate account number (hence some zeroes in my stats as I research the correct bits of information the stats tool requires).
