Hey NeoGen do you have any tricks to share how to get BURP work? I haven't been able to get any all day today.

The Burp wu's finished in a matter of hours and were all back at home base in about 16 hours after they were launched. Now all we can do is wait for the next test run.

I managed to get my hands on a bunch of them and got about 100 credits. :)

There are a few workunits being released. We have dropped several places in the team ranks. Any help on this project would be appreciated. The tasks take between 40 minutes and an hour on an Athlon XP3200+.

I have tried and the guide is asking after proxy but I use not a proxy and there will they have use´name and password and I have no of them.

Just to let the guys @ Rosetta know I haven't abandoned them, but I seen that they had WU's available @ the BURP Site early this morning so I decided to raise my Credits & Ranking there for awhile.

I slipped into the top 10 Credit wise this afternoon under my normal User Name, probably will run BURP for the next few days & try to get into the top 5 ... :twisted:

I'll get back to Rosetta in a few days though & continue to help the Team ... :)

Bob, I'm doing the same thing. Stopped work on everything else and put burp working full time. Seeing that it won't last more than two days I'll focus on it.

I'm in too, I got 5 wu's this evening...is there another project we need to focus on???

We have the ongoing SMART project initiative, which I guess it is a kind of priority projects. The selected projects were Predictor for boinc users and DNet (OGR25/RC5-72) for non-boinc users.

And just a few days ago I also made a call for help, listing 9 active projects that we have nearly abandoned. (Less than 3 people currently running them)

We always got plenty to choose from Blackadder :)

Hummm...I run Predictor on a second computer almost full time. I don't like Ubero because there is no real science going on, I might pick up one of the others though. My current focus on my main computer is climate prediction and I run dimes on both of my computers, plus D2Ol on my daughters computer.I am giving up on Seti cause I don't think they are producing any real science either, I also run FAH on both computers too. Personally I would rather just do cancer research but I haven't found a project doing just that , that I trust. I run UD for a while but the feedback from them was horrible , I would run just folding at home if they stuck just to cancer research. Oh well........crunch on guys!!
