This a source based distro using bash scripts takes quite awhile to get everything built I'm using the beta iso which is 20031205 but cast sorcery on itself twice to get to version Ti 20031210 then rebuilt it for my cpu before casting the rest of the spells because of a bug. This really rocks! to update system all you do is augur synch & augur easy and it downloads, builds, and installs everything thats installed that isn't up todate. only thing is kde builds without support for gifs so mozilla is almost required but then there is alway gnome. It also has a menu driven interface fi needed. If you know what thing you want compiled in you kernel this distro should be a walk in the park.

ok I have everything built. here is some of what I have installed

gaim=0.74
j2sdk=blackdown 1.4.1
lm_sensors=2.7.0
kde=3.1.4
mozilla=1.5.1
gnome=2.4.1
XFree86=4.3.0.1
Kernel=2.4.23
Gkrellm=2.1.22
flashplayer=6.0.79

The machine is very fast now. I think this is the fastest computer I have been on to date not bad considering it's a backup computer w/ tbrd 1.4 and a scavened hdd. I'm now considering replacing mandrake with sorcerer on my main system because I'm so impressed with it.
