For FightAIDS@Home, the minimum requirements are:


At least a 550MHz Intel Pentium™ processor or equivalent
At least 250 MB RAM (with virtual memory enabled)
600 MB Hard Disk Drive with at least 50 MB available for use
The ability to display 8-bit graphics at 800x600 resolution
An Internet connection with minimum 40 kbps speed
Operating System: Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP

Fightaids@Home is a old project as I like and have been crunching. Noting for AMD:s? AMD processors have no virtual memory installed but I belive I can run it without VM?
Perhaps it will take longer to done a task.

well, now that Find-A-Drug is dying, i'm moving my computers to this project....I ran fightaids@home once upon a time but i dont remember any of my account information...it probably doesnt even exist anymore now that they've moved to WCG, so I'm starting from scratch. I'm glad someone picked up that project!

I have fun FA@H for about a week now, I think the virtual memory thing must be for those who do not have much ram installed. I have a XP3200 with 1.5 gig ram and the workunits run from 4 to 6 hours it seems.
