Best PCI Graphics card

My friend wants to know what the best PCI gfx card is. He has a Geforce FX5500, but he is not happy with it. His computer does not have AGP or PCI-E, so he only has PCI.

What do you think?>

I hate to say it, but I think thats about as good as its gonna get with a PCI card. If there is anything better, the cost wouldn't be worth the benefit. Time for a new motherboard. :)

The card he has isn't that bad of a performer. If he is wanting do to recent 3dgames then he should upgrade since any MB that doesn't at least have AGP must be rather outdated. There was a guy though playing FEAR with an FX5200. Boy did that look bad. LOL

I used to have a 5200, played FarCry on it with difficulty.

I now have a water cooled 6800LE AGP, much better :D
