I know this isn't in anyway related to computers, AMD or anything else we discuss here, but I was shocked today as I saw a soccer player of my favorite team simply fall on the ground in the middle of the match.
Miklos Feher, soccer player of Sport Lisbon and Benfica, fell lifeless on the ground a few seconds after having seen a yellow card for a fowl, to which he was smiling to the referee when it was shown.
Born in 1979, he was gonna turn 25 this year. Only a year older than I am. He was a top athlete, in excelent physical condition, that was struck by a sudden death today around 21:30 pm (GMT), which was confirmed at 23:10 in the local hospital after almost two hours of reanimation attempts.
All this suffering was seen in real time in several portuguese television channels.
I'm still in shock at how life, something we take for granted, and we never even think about it, can be taken away from us in a split second, when we least expect it.
Anyway, I don't know what else to say....
