How many projects have you tried?

At the lack of anything better I thought I'd ask this to see if we got more focused or widespread people. :)
Note that I just ask for the ones you have tried. It doesn't mean that you actually run them currently. :P

Tip: If you don't know, you can count how many scores in different projects you got on Ototero's stats. ;)

25. More than I thought. I'm sticking mainly to BOINC. One central program for many projects. :)

I've lost count of how many I've tried, but I'm sure it was much more than 20 :)

So far, looking at the percentages, we seem to be mostly a team of adventurers, that like to try out many projects. :D

I think only 4 projects. Most of my work is in SETI, some Rosetta and Predictor, I did Climate for a while also.

Trying different DC Projects is almost like travelling through the world. Everywhere you go it's a different place, with a different culture, different food, etc, etc... :)

I was running 5 projects, but had to drop Rosetta. It ran three tasks and each one had some kind of computational error and I got no credit for the CPU time. Heck with them.

I thought I saw another project out there that was looking for asteroids that might enter the Earth's orbit, but I wasn't able to find it again. I want Seti to be my only frivolity so I'm not really interested in having my system cruncing just to crunch. I want there to be a purpose.

Unfortunately, it's been on hold for a long time. And even in the brief moments it ran, it was only for Linux. :?

Yep, orbit@home is the one. http://pan-starrs.ifa.hawaii.edu/public/ gives more information.

Apparently they still have a bit of preliminary ground work to finish before they are ready to go beta. I'll be putting some resources into that project when it goes live. Frankly, looking for orbiting satellites that may impact Earth is a bit more important to me than SETI, after all, we haven't even found intelligent life on this planet yet. Looking elsewhere seems a bit presumptuious.

I have tried SETI, Einstein@home, Rosetta@home, and Malariacontrol.net beta. right now I am just trying to get some credit for Malaria lol

I've tried all boinc projects (except the World Community Grid boinc port), and several non boinc ones too. :)
