Hey Bionic, the client starts off asking for proxy server address, but I dont run a proxy. if I choose none, it crashes. I have a router, but I dont think thats it, maybe im wrong, any ideas?

Ok I got it, instead of clicking "none" I just clicked the "set Proxy" button without adding anything and it worked.
Bad news is, the machine I wanted to run it on is Win98 and it wont run at all. XP is ok, but 98se I get "performed illegal function" errors. :cry:

I tried yesterday and it wouldn't work for me. Got 7.6 to work so will run this a little just to see what happens.

Error: store DP Error: INSERT 1 Query failed : Access denied for user: 'dbo95562397@%' to database 'db95562397'1075363874



The DB was full. we used up 150MB/100MB available with my provider.

I had always planned to do nightly DB downloads, but didn't get around to it. I've cleaned out the DB and I'm waiting for 1and1.com to get re-activate the database.

Sorry for the trouble, didn't expect it to fill up so fast!

0.7.7 is now on website but linux version is broken. for anyone running linux the command I am using is
./md5crk > /dev/null & tail -f md5_gui.log

It sends all the md5crk output to /dev/null and lists the gui log in the terminal instead give you:

ok 0.7.7 is now working and the changes are the wu has a size of 100 instead of 10. that doesn't effect speed because stats are for dp's and you can use your old user.xml file but just edit minimum workunit size to 100.

probly be a good idea to start a md5crk forum but i'm waiting to see what happens before adding a stats link to page. one reason isthe project is so new and thing are changing really fast now there is a top team and top users. i think we have 3 out 5 top users

I´m getting this error:

"Error: store DP error: INSERT 1 Query failed: Duplicate entry: 000*****(it's a number) for key 1"

I installed the program for at least five times but I'm always receiving the same message. Do you know what's going on?
