A dual-core, 64bit, low power mobile processor...nice! :D

way cool! those are probably skt 939, and my lappy has 754 ... hmm that would have been an awesome swap!

I read it will utilize DDR2, just the like the upcoming AM2s will. I was really surpried by the prices. Only $184-354. I found some benchmark reviews, but they only tested the 52, i want to see what the 60 will do.

The performance difference is not going to be great as DDR2 is slower than DDR, this really is only a technology update for AMD not a performance one ...the really excting stuff is coming along later! ...I'm sworn under NDA but there's some very innovative technology arriving in about 2 years which could change server design drastically!

I hear AMD is changing all their line of processors and stuff to support DDR2 quickly. But if those mems are slower, what makes them better? (or what makes people want them?)

Micron has a PDF (http://download.micron.com/pdf/flyers/ddr_to_ddr2.pdf) about DDR2. I can't see why it's worse though.

I should have really been more descriptive, sorry! ...DDR2 has higher latency than DDR but it does allow for greater bandwidth and uses less power ...when the price get's a bit more realistic it will have much better performance when using DDR2-800 and above but currently between 400 and 667 you are not going to see any significant performance increase.

EDIT:

I've just found this excellent benchmark review on AnandTech's site, have a read if you're interested as they are spot on with their findings... http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2741
