Daddygeek, I know we flit in and out of projects in this competion but it does give us a chance to appreciate who is crunching week in & week out for the team in some of the harder projects. Well done. dAVE

Woahhh!! where did 'David' appear from in the Pharmers league as he just dropped himself into 2nd place due to a massive dump! .

.."we'll have less of that behaviour thank you very much, I don't want to feel threatened this early on in the race! "  ;)

Well done, more of the same needed to give the team a position boost!

I know the feeling

Can't wait for Hash Clash. Our team really needs a boost there :P

I keep getting BURP work so I figured it might be beneficial to help the team on that front since there are not many chances to obtain credit for the team at the moment (1 session (100 WU approx) per 2 days at the moment)

Good Question Daddygeek,

Where oh where did Mitro go :?: :?: :?: :?: All his numbers are missing on Einstein. I'm surprised that I havent seen anyone talk about his absence. Anyone know something?

vaughan

Mitchellds I think mitro decided to move on.

On that link you posted Vaughan, It doesn't say why mitro left, because his post was edited...

Yes ... by mitro. So I suppose that would be self-censorship.

When did mitro leave? I thought he was still here? That post of his doesn't really say he's left... does it?

I'm confused :?:

Yes, he left. I believe he is DC homeless. I hope he'll consider re-joining after reading these posts as a Guest.

He was a great forum poster.

I still don't get why he left...my I am just being stupid or something...

The last post I saw from Mitro was this one http://www.amdusers.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=31606&highlight=#31606. I tried e-mailing him but I didn't get a reply. I think the thing that he edited from the other post was about him being happy here, which makes it even sadder that he left. dAVE

ATTENTION EVERYONE

Because the Rosetta site is down (kind of...) I cannot get the stats data, which means I'll have to delay the end of the race for tomorrow.

So, you got one more day guys! :)

And remember, Monday starts Einstein@Home's week. Has everyone got their optimized apps ready? ;)

Woo! Good thing I didn't cancel my WUs yet to run Einstein.

Is Fridays and Saturdays totals going on day 5 or will a day 6 also be included in the charts for rosetta??? It looks like a great effort by Team AMDUSERS for Rosetta !! I hope this helps them with Casp7 :D keep crunching guys...

Bah... stupid Paritition Manager. Took overnight just to make a small paritition for Windows Vista Beta 2.

gamer - have you thought of using virtual machines instead, should be much quicker to create, change and delete.
If you are only testing/playing with a new OS would probably be better, obviously much slower than doing it the "real way" though if you want to try full applications etc as it all has to run in memory.

gamer007
06-11-2006, 06:57 AM
Haven't thought of that. I'm getting a new computer in a few weeks. Has a 250GB SATA HDD, so I'll be making a small partition to try out Vista. :)

On topic, I've fallen down to 10th place. :-( But I'll be ready for Einstein!

Well, that was a very close contest, some of the postions were only contested by a few points!

Even though I only came 25 in the regulars, the standard was very high:cool:

Welldone to everyone!! \:D/
