Sorry for the delay guys!

To cut a long story short, my net connection is really bad, last night I couldn't get the stats, so I picked them up this morning from Boinc Synergy's stats site.
Good thing about Boinc Synergy's stats is that it shows each day's points for everyone, so as I picked up the 08:40 stats there were already some points for today that I'll subtract in order to get everyone's values up to last night, before everyone's mega flushes.

All is well when it ends well. ;)

Stats are up:
Pharmers League (http://neogen.amdusers.com/contest2006/race6p.htm)
Regulars League (http://neogen.amdusers.com/contest2006/race6r.htm)

Hehe, finally. Good thing I had a gigantic cache.

Time to flush it, thanks to remote control. :) I'm @ school right now.

Mmm interesting...how do you do it via remote control?

logmein.com.

I can remote control everything on my computer. It just uses bandwidth to transmit that information. Full screen things don't seem to show properly remote though. With HL2, it continues loading the main menu even though it should've been finished. :?

So basically I opened BOINC manager @ school and flushed the cache.

Murray Xp has something called remote control, whereby you can remotely access your own system or have others if in a corporate environment do it for you. IT departments like to sit on there duff a lot so this configuration is very helpful and eleviates the hurrying around to each location that could be off line, a simple password and username and wala you take over the machine from afar.

How to setup Remote: Open the Control Panel, Open System, Click on the Remote Tab and your there, for more details look under help and support.

Mannnnnnnn, I reached the daily quota. Guess I'll have to crunch some where else.

Me 2. I don't understand why they have such a low daily quota.

Come and crunch for Prime Grid...we are moving up a place in the team rankings within the next day or so :P

I read a forum thread on E@H saying to use BoincStudio to spoof your CPUs. :? I'll try to find more info and be a guinea pig.

Looks like you can spoof up to a max of 8 cpus, meaning 256 WUs/day.

BoincStudio latest version: http://docmaboul.dyndns.org/

I know a different trick that requires a bit more work but gives the same results. After installing boinc, create one (or more) copies of the folder and all its contents on some other location. You can only run one boinc at a time, but each boinc will register a different machine at the project, allowing you to stock up on a good amount of workunits. :P

And after the hiccup start, things are rolling smoothly. Stats are up! :)

Day 2 took a bit more to upload... had to manually correct a handfull of duplicates that were showing up, plus a couple of other glitches. Boinc Synergy's stats are rounded and Einstein's site are not, so I also had to correct the rounding where possible.

But all in all it looks good. Might be that this is the first project that will have more than a hundred people on the regulars league? Only 5 more to go! :)

BlackAdder, you have 600 credits for day 2. If you keep growing like that I'll have to promote you to the pharmers league soon! :)

NNNNOOOOOO!!!
Lol! How am I farmer? :P
Single single-core CPU here :P

Btw, anyone know what dmitchell runs? o_O

Update: Damn it... tonight my client crashed I guess, so when I woke up I found that it was not doing anything and my manager told me that it was not connected to a client! GAH! A couple of jobs lost there... :\

I have 2 boxes at home with about 30 to 40 completed E@H work units. The bad thing is,   that the Internet Connection is temporarily not available. Is there a way to copy the completed work to a CD or something similar and upload the result on another system with Internet connection?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes, I am pretty sure you can copy your boinc folder to a CD, then take it to a net connected puter and send the results. I haven't heard of anyone doing it with a cd, but i have heard about using USB keys and flash drives. I guess all you would have to do different is copy your boinc to the hdd of the other pc. Once you send off the results and get new ones, burn another cd to replace the boinc folder on your original pc, that way you don't send two results per result, and cause the universe to crash or something like that. :D

Easiest would be to copy to a USB flash disc or something because then you can run it straight off the disc then overwrite the original folder on the original PC with it

I guess I'll have to start einstein on my son's computer so I can be a real farmer!!

Hey Taters,

I run a combination of linux and windoze pc's. My main pc's at home are a couple of over AMD OC'd x2 core units. I also have several intel based pc's at work that I've been running boinc on. Lately I've been fiddling with water cooling on the AMD units for fun. I usually put a new system together about every 4-6 months to toy with. I think my next adventure will prob be a WC'd twin dual core opty setup once I decided what motherboard I like most. I think some of our fellow amdusers prob already run similar setups. I think I've read that Electrobots runs such a beast, and Mitro prob did also.

Nice, nice. :) I was thinking of upgrading my poor bugger as well to an X2 or Opteron 1** series.

I'm here! And I got the stats with me. Yesterday I didn't get to upload them as I was out and got home a bit late and tired.
You didn't hear this from me but... yesterday was my birthday! Shhh!

Thanks guys! :D

I was hoping to slip by unnoticed this year but my family never forgets it. :P If I don't count the years passing I shouldn't get older, right?

BlackAdder, I'm just about halfway that. I'm 26 now. :)

So. NG, where's our final update for E@H? ;)
I'm all set for uFluids. Only thing I don't like about is it has long WUs.

Woot. 4th place. :) Not bad, I could've gotten more credits if it wasn't for that S5 WU that took 56,139.58 seconds. Looks like that's becoming meanstream in E@H now.

WHEEEEEEEEEEE....I won one of the races!!!!! I still have over 2000 points waiting to be validated...that surely would have promoted me to the Pharmers League....Congrats to all who helped out this race, 103 members on the regulars and 13 pharmers was a good turn out I think. :D

I managed to hit 10,000 points after 1 week on Einstein. Aksof's optimised app helped alot.
