There is a local dealer to whom I am close to one of the Sales People who works in sales. I have asked numerous times what the price is of one of these baby's and he keeps telling me there is no news yet. When I find out, I will let the world know.

if it got to about 4k I might seriously consider it for my business. Maybe after the cpu pricedrops at the end of this month when Intel and AMD get in a price war due to the release of Intel Conroe and Woodcrest cpu's..... :shock:

Yea, i can't wait for the price war, and just six months till AMD's next gen Conroe counter stuff too.

For that price you are only getting the bare unit you will then have to fork out for the 8 x Opterons (max config) although you would only need the 200 series but the price would be high as it has to use the HE (low voltage) versions.
