This was unexpected...
I looked around for one of those programs that supposedly cools down the cpu, found CPUIdle, and it did the opposite effect. :?
I knew already that it would take 100% cpu time, like DC project apps do, but they say it's to send the HLT (Halt?) instruction to the cpu that it helps cool down. The thruth was that it heated the cpu just like any other cpu intensive app would... when I terminated the program the cpu temp went down by more than 6 degrees celsius back to the usual values.
Aren't these cpu cooling programs supposed to work?
