My Computer Science class Grade 9(circa 1979) we had Commodore PET's after usiing it I bought a VIC-20.

My interests in crunchin started with Commodore

It's a pretty good bet that most of the people in that class are still Poking and Peeking somewhere :twisted:

Altough more popular than many of those in that list, Sinclair's machines (and many others) were not considered personal computers. So they couldn't be on that list. :roll:

What surprises me is that they include several models of nowadays machines (ok, a few years old), which have nothing of different among each others except some fancy looking cases. Is an "Alienware Area-51" a landmark in personal computing? Or a "Shuttle SV24 Barebone System"?

Well it was very personal to me as it was the first system I ever built! :D

I was also surprised to see those later systems in there. Perhaps I should spray paint my PC case and submit it for entry as well! :roll: :lol:
