Hello again everyone! I was doing a little tooling around on the internet and found this what looks to be handy little program for cutting the fat windows XP. It is called "Tiny xp". Some users have posted windows ram usage of 40 megs, and a 6 min install time of XP once the install disc is created. I have NOT tried using it yet. The usage described for using this is power gamers who need all the ram and resources they can get.

As far as i can tell this software gives query prompts to ask you what processes you want to keep ( dhcp client and such) and makes a copy of your Authentic windows and form a new install disc with only the features you wish.

I am wondering...1) Would this be a boost to DC cruching? 2) Has anyone used this before?

If anyone is interested in this file post here. If anyone wants further inquery i can repost the notepad step by step guide included in the file.

There is a similar product called XP-Lite.

You just install it on the your normal xp, then tick the bits to be removed. After a reboot, you can test it.

Also you can use it to put bits back.
