For some reason I can only get these 3 projects to show up... Any reasons why???

Have you got the same CrossProjectID across all the boinc projects you're registered on?

I don't have that sig, but I guess that boincstats should get your stats for all projects based on the CPID.

Yea, I have 3 or 4 different CPID's... Wonder how that happened and how do I fix that...??

How to solve your problem there Beerknurd. You see I had that difficulty and thought that it too was the quirky BoincStats fault of the man behind the curtain situation. Someone not liking the team and all and just playing a trick or something, so I emailed them with a polite question and got a nice response to which I will try and convey the message altered just for your case.

NOW what I am about to show you I have edited to remove my systems and core CPID's but you can figure out just what you need to do, or you can get ahold of me and I will continue to explain further.

I can't solve your problem but I can tell you what to do to solve it.

The account with cpid xxxXXXXX0fabe990e8e65582ebde86d7 is only connected to Leiden Classical (LC). Either LC didn't execute your email change because of old server code or being down at the time of your change
(solution: go to the LC homepage and make the email change there) or you don't have LC running on any system that is running one of the other projects. (solution: attach to LC on at least one host and complete one WU).

What Willy is trying to convey is you will need to go into Your account of each project and make sure that your email is the same throughout. Then run at least one or say three work units. The Total Boinc platform will acknowledge your change from one email/CPID to the other and your done.

The second link only works at night, don’t ask me why! But you can tell where I joined the two CPID’s in September and the tremendous improvement in my stats.

Of course I am here to help, And I love to solve problems, I noticed other members on here who have several locations on our second link and could use this guideline as a helpful way to move there stats up close to me or even pass me.

If you need more help just Holler ! You may want to pick the CPID for Predictor as that project is down and probably never to return. Just my thought!

Your welcome, anytime I can share some of my experiences with my fellow team mates I feel it is worthy so they don't have to !

Remember the last line about predictor, I think that is your best bet!

I'll just throw a little thought in here between boinc installations on windows and linux.

Of course you all know that when boinc installs on windows, you get the registry entries, and you are pretty much limited to one main boinc installation again due to the registry entries unless you are one real hard core windows internal code guy/gal.

On linux though you can install boinc as many times as you want. Each BOINC directury just needs to be a sub directory of another directory in the users "home" directory such as;
/home/sum_dude/boinc_1/BOINC for the first for instance,
/home/sum_dude/boinc_2/BOINC and so on ad-nauseum

And why do that? Well it solves a problem of having to worry about whether or not you can change projects you are working on. ie not having to do what the "scheduler" says. Of course this isn't the way that the windows boinc world runs. But it sure makes it very simple to run multiple instances of boinc working on different projects at the same time on dual core systems, or on single projects where the owner just wants to crunch on boinc projects under his/her own time tables.

Why mention this? Because I'm sure that others have thought of this too, but in the process the "cross project ID" issue looms up and needs to be looked at.

So I would imagine that to the boinc authors in their grand scheme of things prefer the windows registry method as it gives them the total control over the system. With *nix, you don't get any total control unless you are "root".
