Right now another 4800+ and a bunch of parts for an old Duron and an Intel 1.8. Oh and a dual AMD core laptop. I spent the morning running two more power lines to the bedroom. I did order a 8 puter KVM switch. The wife is starting to look at me funny. It is kind of nice that it's getting cool out and I have the heat vent shut off in this room. lol I might have to keep the window open this winter.

It's going to take longer than we thought. Check ot the numbers that Yamashin is running on that 6600 of his.

Bah... My 4200 matches his 6600, well within 100 points of it. Unless he wasn't running it all day...

He's running at 140% of my 4800+ and scoreing way up there per wu. Check out his scores

He must not be running it all the time then. He is only getting 1600 points a day out of it. Let's hope he keeps it that way...

That's a huge overclocked amount!?!

My little Core2Duo 6300 O/C'd to a miserly 2086 is producing this http://issofty17.is.noda.tus.ac.jp/show_host_detail.php?hostid=8842

But even when pushed up to 2.4 it was only hitting just over 19000mil in integer!

With this 4800 pushed to 2.58 (it gets hot) I just get over 14,000. Two of the things I ordered was a new cooler and matched ram. 3.0 here I come lol if the cooler works out. I ordered the: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835702001
If this don't go it I guess I'll go to watercooled.

Your going to have to go watercooling, and you might want some advice from specialists if you intend to push past the 2.7 mark. I would suggest removing the IHC from the cpu, but, double BUT, if you make a mistake in removing the IHC you don't get to send the chip back for a replacement. http://www.dualcoreamd.com/ This web site will help you in some ways and still leave you with questions to some. I sent you the details to follow on the MadShrimps website. Overclockers web site has a lot of info on how to go about pushing your system to the maximum. http://www.overclockers.com/ Water cooling is the only way to go at such high speeds your after. Watch the voltage at such high temps, remember to check with a vtvm on the exact volts at the psu not what the machine says. Ok I said enough for now.

I took it to 3.0 when I first got it. I just can't keep it there. I have had it to 2.8 for about 3 hours and it was ok it just got up to 65C and I shut it down before it chipped. I made 2.7 on regular voltage, I had to push it to 1.63 to get 3.0 and it was only for about 10 minutes. The one I have ordered will have a better board, better RAM, and better cooling. That should be fun. This thread was a great help:http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=65524&page=1

And with this cooler I think it'll be OK

Looking at the stats this morning I noticed that over the past 96 hours I actually have attained a higher ranking but only for a few hours. Blackheath ran over me like a freight train, so I lost my spot. Now I am approaching three more people in front of me which means I will garner three higher places right, wrong I have Zepplin and Lunarcom fast appraoching my six. Which means that I will acheive 23rd place for a glimpse of an eye, and then fall back down to 25th. All this hard work and where is it getting me, I ask?

I am right here along side my Team effort as we push for #1, if I would stop working just because people keep passing me, I should venture out and buy more computers, I can't right now I have obligations.

I am in the middle of starting my own business - looks good from here, but lots of hard work!

There's 2 more scalps after that, so you'll get those two places back and be up by three.

Nflight, if I overtake your position it will be short-lived. I prefer the Math projects and will be turning my attention back to them soon.

Zeppelin we are surging for #1 place overall, please stay with us as we reach that pinnacle. I too have a love of working most of my projects up to 50,000 points. I just figured I would assist in this effort to put us #1 spot. I am getting use to wearing tread marks across my forehead. I actually prefer the ones from team mates, it is the other folk I have problems with. Zeppelin, nice to see you back to the Forums, We all missed your shining abilities and great sense of humor.
