That's nothing (actually my E6300 is not far off that one anyway!) when compared with Yamashin...

How does he get so much credit per WU?

This project rewards fast machines the faster the higher. What I want to know is what they use to cool those things? Liquid O2?

As of this morning I have a water cooled 6300 now running at 3.5 ghz. Boinc reports cpu speed benchmarks at 6221 Whets and 28790 Dry's. I'm looking for that magical 100% over-clock which would be around 3.7 ghz. This is at stock voltage also. Simply Amazing. I put one of those new gigabyte Galaxy 2 cooler kits on. Cpu temps are at 42c running loaded. awsome.

Stock Voltage!!! :icon_biggrin::5eek:
Very impressive results their Dave, your bus speed must be at around 500MHz!!!
I must admit my little e6300 is a little monkey, just need to get it a proper m/b so I can unleash it further!:blob3:

very good BlackHeath, your right on the money. I've found that I'm stuck at 501 fsb right at the minute. I need better memory and prob more cpu voltage, but hey, nobodies complaining here. fun fun. I'm using the aus p5b deluxe myself.:blob3:

actually boinc floats all around when returning the estimated benchmark scores. Sanda software actually reports 22.2 mflops and 32.3 mips,
Here is my Benchmark (No owerclock)
Processor: 2 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz
Benchmark results:
Number of CPUs: 2
4.278 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
19.825 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU
My own AMD Athlon 3200+ as a compare:
Number of CPUs: 1
3,965 floating point MIPS
12,755 Integer MIPS
I have found AMD Dual Core 4200+ has 12,662 Integer MIPS
AMD Dual Core has 4800+ 14,304 Integer MIPS
:) :) :)

Dave,
I just put on a Monsoon II and I hope it becomes anywhere near as good as your new watercooler. I have read that it takes about 3 days to burn in and lower the temps. This 4800+ has always been the hottest running chip I've ever had. normal before was 2.5GHz @ 60C. after 5 hours with this it's at 2.76GHz @ 57C. As it gets better I crank it up with ClockGen. I might have to change boards this one is starting to be frustrating. I have an Asus in another machine that I might swap. Continued good luck with the WC.

Wow that looks like a awsome cooler. I always wanted to try out a peltier. According to the tweaktown article on that puppy, you will prob get around 10c cooler than what I'm getting with my WC setup for about the same price.
