You may recognize us, since we passed you in Majestic-12 recently :icon_razz:

Now, like a bad rash in the backside, we are back! :icon_twisted:

This time, you're about to get stomped in EON.
Bend over and take it! :icon_mad:
It shouldn't hurt much, since you ought to be used to it by now... :icon_rolleyes:

Good ol' Bessie got worn out :(

That's why we've got so much time (and hair :icon_redface: ) on our hands to come here and bother you! :icon_wink:

Bessie was mutton dressed as lamb.
A Bo'Peep reject :)

Out of 57 projects that we both participate in, you are trailing in 39 of them.
Why don't you participate in the other 9 or 10 or so?
Hard to read directions through that visor, is it?
Maybe that old tin suit is holding you back from being all that you can be?
Well done! You have taken the first step towards easing your pain by becoming an AMD Users forum member. You'll be changing your projects over in no time and if you're really brave, you'll even keep your alias.
(snicker snicker ;) ;) say no more )

These taunts are becoming tiresome. Why don't you put your cpu cycles to a good cause and TRY to overtake me at BOINC Riesel Sieve. Ho hum :icon_wink:

You really ought to see a doctor about that.
It could spread to the front!!!

Hard to read directions through that visor, is it?

Trust me, the visor has nothing to do with it... :icon_redface:

Stop bringing up other projects! :icon_mad:

If some guy comes up with a cure for cancer, you're the kind of guys to start bashing him for not doing very well at the AIDS virus, eh? :icon_rolleyes:

You really need to focus on the only thing important here: yous guys sucks big time at EON, and you have about one week to get better at it, or we're gonna make gruel of yer gonads! :icon_razz:

Ni! Ni! Ni!

I don't know what they are thinking they do 50,000 a day we have members that can do that much! It would be like swatting flys.

i'm pretty sure it doesn't say anywhere that you have to be smart to become a knight.

I can do half of that...

I'm wondering how much I can do but I don't have it on all machines yet. At this points it looks like quite a bit.

Beerknurd
01-16-2007, 10:21 PM
I'm looking at about 1200 an hour, or about 29,000 a day....

Beerknurd

Free-DC stats update every 30 minutes for Eon... Just times your last update by 48. That should give you about what you will do a day...

gatekeeper53
01-16-2007, 10:25 PM
I've added a machine since then lol

I noticed in the first post that "Two Sheds" (one can only presume the name describes the amount of space required to shelter their caboose) seemed to have the perception that MJ-12 was an important project for this team.

Thier last challenge (MJ-12) didn't raise enough interest to get 1% of our team to put the resources into fending them off. MJ-12 is not exactly an important project to us, even though I personally do put resources there.

EON however does look like a viable project. If the team ends up needing it, I'll send what help I can.

Eon is a good project... I like it... It's worth the fight...

gatekeeper53
01-16-2007, 11:54 PM
Need .... maybe not but it would be fun blasting them back to the stone age in about 24 hours.

I only have my Celeron laptop to donate at the moment - and trust me, my head is already hanging in shame :(

Once I get my big rig back (hopefully tomorrow) I'll be punching hard again :)

I think I will take this opportunity to withdraw from these forums... :icon_redface:

Don't worry! You will only keep on like this for a few days, and then you will be off to other projects again. And then, like a mould infestation under the carpet that you thought you dealed with once and for all, I will resurface and taunt you a second time! :icon_twisted:

Laters! :icon_mrgreen:

Beerknurd are you overopimistic?:icon_wink: I have newer done 29.000 a day. It takes many days done so mych. I have run it I think 7-8 hours and yet only done 1.077 tasks. Yet the client works both fast and slow. The greater Hsize the slower it goes. Hsize 627 takes more time to crunc when Hsize 72 takes no time.

But you perhaps run 4-6 eOn clients?

Beerknurd
01-17-2007, 05:47 AM
I am running 7 clients right now... 4 computers total. I will have 2 more going tomorrow....

gatekeeper53
01-17-2007, 05:50 AM
I've been avg about 2400 an hour for awhile now so I guess about 45 to 50,000 a day. And Lagu I ran about 7 - 8 hours today and ended up with a little over 17,000 the first 3 hours was less than full speed.

Beerknurd
01-17-2007, 05:54 AM
This project is cool... I may keep this one going for a while...

gatekeeper53

TwoSheds,

Be assured that me and my attractive and large and still firmly attached gonads (nice taunt - see earlier reference) look forward to resuming our lively banter with you in the near future. :)

Lovely to have you with us again. Perhaps you will be able to make your stay just a little longer next time so we can have a decent chat.

May the god of baked beans shine upon your tin can.
Farewell, knight.

So, the "Gnats who say nit" quit before they started?

Could it all be a distraction to get the team to move resources to EON while they push on in their real target project? Or, could I be giving the Gnats more credit than they deserve?

TwoSheds
01-18-2007, 05:19 AM
We deserve all the credit we can get! :icon_mrgreen:

I'm not aware that we have a "main project". We tend to lose focus and jump to new projects all the time. :icon_rolleyes:
Only a few of us are doing Eon, a project that was doing just fine until you guys ruined it! :icon_mad:
There hasn't been a lot of ZZZ:s for weeks, and then you come along... There's got to be a connection!

Beerknurd
01-18-2007, 05:22 AM
All of us crunching has to be putting a strain on something... The guy crunching for the University of Texas team doesn't seem to be having any problems getting WU's... There's got to be a connection! :icon_rolleyes:

AMDave
01-18-2007, 08:41 AM
Not at all.
The decision model finds an impasse and is dithering on the server as to which way the form will continue to grow/interact. In the mean time it issues no WUs.

This is an ongoing issue with the methodology used by the project.
It happens often. All we did was help it get there faster.

I posted in the eOn forum. An admin will amble past the box and give it the expert kick it needs to plough ahead again for the next few days until it happens again. GOTO LINE 1

gatekeeper53

I guess if they don't care about it any more than that I won't either. I'll just move back over to Pi Segment where at least the guy tries.

looksl like it may have worked itself out now.

One of the Gnats is "dithering on the server"? Can't they be house trained?

Nflight
01-22-2007, 03:18 PM
I think the gnats have become house trained there manners have improved in announcing themselves on a daily rant. The perception of the working "TwoSheds" comes from the American western lore of someone who smells so bad he has to sleep a two sheds distance away from your bunk he ranks so bad!!
So will the smelly TwoSheds be back?
