When I bought my Compaq Presario 1999 and 2001 2 loudspeakers to each followed with the whole box. The first was JBL Pro and the last was Platinum JBL Series. Both very good loudspeakers because they had a high sound as is good for me when I will hold my hands on them and “listen” on music. They where for hooking up on each side of the monitor but have also feet’s as I can mount if I will they shall be on the table. Today I tried connecting Platinum to my Intel. There was some cables one blue other green male terminators and one white female terminator. All male contacts were OK but the female??? I read back the loudspeaker there was a outage for 12 Volt DC 1,0 Amp. Yes it will have an adapter but where the hell have I placed it??? I had one over but it should have a male terminator. I searched and ponder and began lock back the monitor and there where the damn hole as should give electric current to the loudspeaker.:(
Although Compaq has their own way when they made a product and I can say it is not to make it easier for us customers. If I will buy a new normal memory I can forgot this. Instead I must order a special memory as not is cheap for take an example. And the loudspeaker as is so fine should it be worthless. How often do you thrown away your loudspeaker?
It is impossible use them but wait, perhaps I can use an adapter. I have one at 240 Volt, 50 Hz, 180 mA, DC3-12 v and 1,5Amp.
What do you guys think?
