Got this error on my XP2700+ Win XP Home pc.
I'm posting it here seeing as the original NanoHive@Home forums have been closed down.

I had the same thing this morning, except I had to reboot as everything had locked up. I couldn't even see the BOINC log. Not sure what time it crashed, but I could have lost up to 8 hours of crunching.

It locked up my MediaPC so my little Boy couldn't watch telly before he went to bed! ...Jigsaw pieces all over the house now! I'll blame NanoHive for the mess! :icon_wink:
Seriously though, I had lots of errors from all my systems so I've moved them back over to Einstein for a bit!

The issue that throws up the blocking dialog is priority #1 on our To Fix list.A new client app, version 5.03, has been uploaded which fixes the error dialog box pop-up problem. If you've suspended NHAH to avoid potential across-the-board project blockage, please reset the NHAH project and then resume it.

I haven't had problems yet, but this is good for those that had it. :)

no problems yet for me except that, they only seem to award .50 to .75 % of the credit I claim for completed wu's.

My Intel 1.7 Ghz Celeron laptop hasn't crashed yet, so maybe it's an AMD specific thing?

0xc0000005 error
is my favorite error -the long term memory shift error
if a program holds something in memory for really long time the chipset will shift it around to keep it fresh
if the new area is clear no problem
if the new area has something in it you get an error
most chipset manufactures fixed this error back in 2002 except nvidia
I know nvidia didn't fix this for nForce 2,3 or 4, they may have fixed it in nForce5
Your daily limit had been cut because you had sent back too many errored units.
basically your screwed until they fix the app and reset the daily quota

Sounds exactly what my Wife does when I've done something really wrong, she'll hold in memory for a really long time and bring it up now again to keep it fresh! :icon_lol:

Big Whiskey thanks for the reply on the trouble I keep having. Strong Bow you and Gatekeeper have one thing in common that I do not, Your both married! I don't have the little women pointing out the bad things you have done lately over and over again.
Strong Bow I would be helping at Nano-Hive if I could but since my OS and there program don't like being battered with banter over and over again. Our feud will continue till one of us gets fixed ! And I am not talking about the snip snip, I am talking about the blasted program alright. :icon_twisted:

I kept getting problems with my farm on NanoHive as well so I popped over to Einstein, now they've had a few too many issues with their validation database hanging so I'm just floating around now hoping that some site somewhere will like my farm - currently at XtremLab for the next few days.
3 of my systems are down due to weird things and BOINC is failing on all of them so I've got to find the time some day soon to sort them all out!

I just got this email
We've uploaded a new client application to NanoHive@Home (NHAH) -
NHAH_QSMAKAS version 5.06. This version fixes the bug that popped up an
error dialog which blocked the BOINC Manager until the dialog was closed.
The progress calculation has also been adjusted so that WUs won't reach,
and stay at 99.99% complete for hours. We've also reset everybody's
maximum results per day to 50.
We recommend currently active participants to Reset the project once
their current WU completes to get the new client application. If you've
Suspended NHAH because of the error dialog pop-up bug, please Reset then
Resume the project.
Thank-you for your participation in NanoHive@Home,
--Brian.

I am still pounding my head against the keyboard with frustration, I posted a message to the forums and so did PoorBoy, we are both at odds with this new release of potential work unit frustration.
At least it is not as bad as the Riesel Sieve problem with connections to Australia.
I had a total system crash this morning with all work stopped at 3:40am EST. I woke up at 4:30 am and checked to see I was offline once again. Nano-Hive and my systems just are not working nicely just yet, I am still trying though.
I downloaded the newest Boinc 5.8.15 but it sems be a bad one. I gets a window telling me Boinc have got an failure and I must restart it. No points earned s far. I think I will remove it and start another client. From the log:

When I went to download Boinc I clicked on "All Versions" and downloaded 5.4.11 and then loaded up Crunch3rs 5.5.0. It's running like a top on all 4 X2's
