I am trying to write a better summary of SIMAP for my site, and I am noticing that it has a similar goal/mission to the World Community Grid's Genome Comparison Project. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

WCG grew out of www.Grid.org I suggest trying their website for definitive explanations. Simap isn't even running anymore is it? Or is it back again after that long breath of non-existence?

I've been crunching WCG for about 18months now, there's a wealth of information on the forum

Looks like "TheRealYeti" has already asked the question here:

Some answers here (http://boinc.bio.wzw.tum.de/boincsimap/project.php) and here (http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=9886#77102)
