I'm new with three AMD computers with a daily average of 160. How to I turn that into 15,210 daily average like Chris?

Well with 160 a day your not too bad of a producer but the way Chris does his output can be viewed here: http://boincstats.com/stats/boinc_host_stats.php?pr=bo&st=0&userid=48126fafdad610d440b887a0d96825e7

NO it is not fair to have such power at your finger tips, but he is allowed to participate as he has asked permission by his employer to aid in the many projects he crunches on.

gparsons70 one of the many things you can do to find the needed speed of your machines is to look through our forum pages and read all you can about how to improve your performance of your machines output, and maybe even soup up the software a little.

Not all of us are this super powered, I only have two machines, but if you dedicate yourself to a project and set a goal or two you can do amazing things. I currently run 6 different projects at the same time. As you can see in my signature. Not all projects like each other, keep reading the forums and Ask questions to anyone of us using the forum areas as a place to start a new thread. When you can't find the solution, there are plenty of Team Mates who either know the answer or who will look with you till your problem is solved. :)

About the only way to turn your 160 a day into 15,000 is to buy about 60 new 5200+'s and buy power company stock. Sorry But, your contribution of 160 is nothing to sneeze at. I think you will be suprised at how they add up over time.

Yes, crunching is for most of us an application of time and pressure. If placement on the team list is important it can be done if you are persistant and patient.

For instance; in Majestic-12 it has taken me 6 months of basically continuous pressure to get into the team's top 10 (presently in 9th place there). Every once in a while someone pops in who does 10x my system's capacity for a bit and leaves. I just keep plodding away and slowly overtake those who don't stick around long enough to hold their placement.

In actuality, I'd be more than happy to have a slew of team members come back to Majestic and smoke my score there badly enough that we could re-pass the Knights who say gnat. But, there are more vital projects that have our attention at the moment.

I'm currently in Madeira with a lap top and only a weak wireless conection in Portugese, which I don´t speak and the keyboard does´t work properly. So no crunching for me but WELL DONE Chris. It´s nice to be in you shadow. dAVE.
