D2OL seems to be picking up as some more teams have started adding more points to the daily runs. That's good for the project managers! :)

Climbed out of the sack and tuned in this morning and right off the bat I see Team Norway has got three members in the top ten for the day so far, one with 2,400+. They are the team immediately below us in the stats. :icon_eek:

Norway is our neighbours and lies east of the Swedish border. The Norwegian language is not so very different against the Swedish language. I have been into their forum lurking and they have noticed Brusifers points as he have added.

Here is their message:

TN become for some days ago unfortunately stomped by AMD Users when a member from ARS TFY choose to join AMD Users. The person took a number of a five digits quantity of candidates whit him over to AMD Users as made so they passed us.

Tanks to Pantera7 we have already go past OCWorkbench.

We are obviously searching after more members as also run that project so threw on some nodes thus we reach next milestone of 500.000 candidates within reasonable time.

what is the best cpu to use on d2ol ?
and what will the daily score be with an opteron 285 ?
thinking of build or shop a new computer, and the cost shoud not be more then $2000

I have an Intel Core2 Duo E660 (Conroe) and a good day it can finish 160 WU´s. However their WU´s are different hard to crunch. A right picture is it goes as a jojo. My AMD Athlon64 3200+ can a good day crunch 140 WU´s.

I have no experience of how AMD 3800-6000+ can manage it but it is possible run D20L on 2 cores.

You can read more in the topic of D20L how you will do that. Sure other members kan tell you.

I have a Athlon64 4000+ (2.4GHz) OC'd to 2.6GHz and a Opty 146 (2.0GHz)OC'd to 2.6GHz both are 939 chips and the Opty beats it every day...:icon_mrgreen:

That was really some ferocious output today by the team! If we can do 5 more days of that and we will be moving up a team position, and then 3 days after that another team position! :)

Guys, I'll get back to running D2OL on weekends after the Boinc race is completed...How do I run this on a dual core?? Do I need two D2OL folders with two completely separate installs ?? Thanks :)

Yes, and don't forget to rename your first d2ol desktop icon after you install it, or the second install with overwrite it.

Lebo, terryb, Big_Whiskey and Opteron has done extremely well the on D20L. Not long ago I was 6th now I son will have 11th rank. Well done guys because D20L is a project as have had little attraction on our many members.
We have 600 GHz and 40000 MHz and are averaging ca 12,500 Candidates according to MacNN stats page. That is unbelievable power. :)

Hey BW, why don't you have Majestic-12 in your Free-DC stats?
