Looks like Lumiukko is ready to take your #1 spot. You are pretty much keeping this team ahead on this project. We should make the push to find as many primes as possilbe on RS, since it will soon switch to LLR as the main focus.

Yeah I know. :icon_twisted:

I've switched my mighty Prime Finder box (P3 750 laptop) over to help but Lumiukko's gaining because of the 2 Xeon 5345s he's running.

That is an amazing array of crunchers:

All you need now Vaughan are a set of your own? Or be patient for the AMD Quad Cores to put you over the top! :sad5:

That's light weight stuff compared to this http://docking.utep.edu/hosts_user.php ... :icon_mrgreen:

Yeah, except if Vaughn waited for AMD quad cores, he would be waiting until Xmax 07. AMD is letting us down on the quad core front, with even another quarter delay more that already announced. Guess thats why I ordered another intel quad yesterday. Where is the competition AMD? I'd buy some, if they'd just get some out the door. :(

PoorBoy,

If you are linking to your list of machines, you need this http://docking.utep.edu/hosts_user.php?userid=292 as your link opens up my list of hosts on Docking, not yours.

Opens up the same list of PC's for me ... :hello:

Lumiukko is set to replace you in two days from now. I've noticed that some of the Core 2's out there are getting about 25 credits a work unit just for sieveing.

LLR needs some work done badly on it, since the quicker the LLR work is done, the quicker they can move from this comparative llr work to the real llr prime finding. I've been running nothing but LLR on RS except for my 1 linux box which is forced to sieve and is a P4.

I'll switch over to LLR as soon as Bryan makes those upcoming changes.

I'm on LLR now. Moved over my Core Duo Windows box three days ago but it's sieve cache is just finishing.

Linux AMD64 is still on sieving mind.
50/50 with CPDN as well.

Sometimes you just have to give it up, I gave up defending my #1 position over @ PrimeGrid, I just didn't feel like running it anymore. With so many Projects now it's hard to hold your position unless you have a Gazillion Computers ... :icon_lol:

Once I reach a certain level of Credit @ a Project I lose interest in it anymore @ look for something else to crunch. I like to think of myself as a Equal Opportunity Cruncher, I'm working now on putting my 22'nd & 23'd BOINC Project over the 100,000 Mark ... I'm almost certain I lead the BOINC Projects in that category ... :icon_rolleyes:

I commend you for maintaining the rank of #1 worldwide in Riesel Sieve Boinc for the past 10 months, that truly is an accomplishment! As our longest and most active cruncher here at AMD Users, you are still someone I look up to, no matter if you have lost the #1 spot or not. You push ahead in every project touching each project in a monthly manner, your unselfishness to lend a hand when others call, makes you worthy of the leadership you have accepted. Vaughan under certain circumstances that are out of your control your leadership in Boinc Riesel Sieve may be gone but amazing quality as a person will always shine first as #1.

DonĀ“t be sad Vaughan. It is as you say: "sooner or lather" one can lost his place. You are our most valuable member and the member as have been here longest of us all. We other can only dream of what you have done

Perhaps you should begin run another project? Or are you thinking run it yet and keep your second rank?
