Great job you are doing there.

I confess that i don't understand how to install and set up that project. I have Win Me installed and everytime I install FAD I can't see if it is running. The computer slows down and I have to restart it.
Then there's that stupid think called "THINK" or something like that.

I never tried FAD. I thought about it. But never even dowloaded it.

I think in less than a week we'll be the number one AMD group on FAD :D

looking at the 17 stats we are now coming up close to FreeDC aswell. so this could be a double "take over" as it were, lol.

** chaz loking at prime ribs site youve now hit red in 17 production :thumbleft:,
well done to everyone else, only 8 Tera left to go - keep up the good work

Beerknurd, everything you say always relates in my mind to that pic of Kermit and what I hope is miss piggy (cuz he can't be cheating on her, he loves her and he's a good guy)... anywayz, so I'm seeing "YIPEE!!!!" and that pic... funny...

Elez

The influential people here should seriously consider focusing their minions on FAD, which is a potentially extremely beneficial project.

I want kidding about the minion part

being a forum surely everyone is influencial ????

i would say we focus (or try to) on whatever we vote as the priority project, this may not be our personal fav but the more power we put into one the quicker we achieve our goals and move on to take another place somewhere else

ahab3333
09-27-2004, 05:30 PM
i think our goal should be to get top 10 in all of the projects we set our sights on. getting top 10 will get our name out there and not waste computing power trying to overtake the top5 which are much larger than we are. if someone is going to join a time and looking for a team they will propably join a top ten team. i would never join the #1 team becuase they dont need the help. so i think it is better to get top ten rather than top 5 or number 1.

everyone has a favor project to run and i use priority project on the extra computers and for newbies that are unsure on what to run.

AMDave

Elez,

"Patience young Skywalker. The force is strong in you".

Indeed the progress in FAD is very pleasing.

Those of us who are working on the current Priority Project will know that we have almost reached the target.

Once that has been achieved I expect that we will all have the opportunity once again to vote for the next Priority Project / Target and given the last vote, FAD may be it.

I'd like to encourage EVERYONE to participate in the next vote.

The Team is strong and we are on your side !

For myself:
SoB was not the one I was voting for this time but I have committed myself to the Team and the priority projects as my focus, in the knowledge that there will alwalys be someone else in the Team faithfully crunching away on their favourite projects. I don't have much crunch power myself, so I have little chance of getting anywhere on my own or even to the head of the team, but the contribution makes a little difference in the priority project and my last result in the other projects I have done so far will still be there when we get round to them or if the team votes on a project that I have not been able to get to run (ie eOn refused to work for me on the last call up, so I have blown away my linux OS for Win2K to run SoB)

So ? well I think it is a testament to the team that there's so much green on Stu's stat's page.

I love the green.

Hail to the green.

Worship the green.

We look HOT in green !

Live the Green Dream, Join the AMD Users Team.

Elez,

thanks for the well wish.

Dude at 24 you gotta get out there.
You don't have to find them.
Just go out & meet loads of girls.
When one of THEM decides that THEY have found YOU, then you will know about it.
But by then you won't be saying "....naaaaah" you'll be saying "Yes Dear !"

I Always have the last word......."Yes Dear !"

Oh ... AND ...

naaah, I've been in mid-term relationship :) (as opposed to long term, not to what you have in college).
Women are good... they're great but they also put a LOT of pressure on you... I think they're being paid to do that by some form of establishment or the something...
I think I'll do like everybody does here, I'll marry at 30-35 to a 20-25 year old chick :)

AMDave
09-28-2004, 11:38 AM

Dunno what Stu's worried about though, He's waaaay ahead of me when it comes to the number of years left on the mortgage.

See. Now thats a funny thing.
I'm following you around in stats again.

NOW AT T minus 0.127 AND COUNTING

Ok Ok OK.

At 0.003 difference thats going to be a lot of counting.

Its going to take a bit longer.

They pushed their production up to 3.4 M last night when "wirthi" went back online.

I'll check in later and hope I havent missed it.

Hey I see the guys went up another 2 in LHC.

I had a look at the progressive project stats against the monthly figures on the Stats page.

Moving up in
17, Climate Prediction, Find-a-Drug, Grid Org, LHC, Predictor and SetiBOINC

Holding Steady in
Chess Brain, D2OL, DPAD, eOn, LifeMapper, Ubero, Zeta

Lost a little ground (but not unrecoverable) in
Dist Fold, Dnet, F@H, TSC

Note - Seti Classic is a wild card as there are so many teams with equal production rate it is fluctuating between 2970 and 3007, so it will depend on the time of day I suppose.

Looking forward to seeing Stu post the finals.

The next vote for team priority project should be interesting.

Beerknurd

Mmm. Hopefully the Predictor team will get their software back into shape.
It is dissappointing that they are not up to the 4.09 spec yet.

If you take a look here (http://woo.gotdns.com/FrameStats/) you will see why we are staying so close to Team Ninja in D²OL, they are making a run up the ladder in FAD. Such reach our postion within a week at current rate. :-(

Empty_5oul
10-03-2004, 06:46 PM
i guess that would all tie up.
our 17 production is going to go back to about 1 tera /day as DMMc re-focuses, but i hope we can keep it together and wait for another burst - i cant wait till Christmas, that should be at leasta week of solid production max power from dave - that will be sweet.

maybe anyone who cant run SOB at the moment try D2ol and see how team ninja react, if they keep at us on FAD or revert to d2ol and keep that position ??
