I finally landed the slippery sucker and made it into the top 20 on Riesel LLR.
I'm off down stairs to "crack a tinnie" and reminisce on the last couple of years :icon_mrgreen:

A can of beer.

We used to get them in iron cans (tin can) but now they're aluminium.

Congrats Dave on reaching the top 20 by the way :)

I don't think I can chase down that much of a lead even if I switched my pharm to RS-LLR'ing.

Thank you. Likewise I'd have trouble contemplating contesting your Riesel BOINC commitment.

I am sure that blame-Bryan (sic. heh I'll pay for that on IRC) and Lee have benefitted from our cross project efforts so far and that our commitments have made a difference to the project and will continue to do so.

Play on, AMD Users!

I suppose this helps our DC-Vault Rating ~? I was wondering if this is a BOINC Project as well or something more involved then that~? Lots of questions and you never know I may even participate if there were instructions on how to get involved in this project~?

Ok Hold for Answers :icon_mrgreen:

Yes it does, though I am no longer sure by how much. Ot can tell but I have forgotten the way! We wrote it out somewhere so we could go back and check but I lost the linky. It's in here somewhere. LOL

This is the ye-olde classic version of the LLR component of BOINC Riesel Sieve.

Indeed there are. We have a sticky at the top of the old classic forum here

No problem. Now switching 3 P4s to heavier eOn crunching. Got me some ranks to chase over there :icon_wink:

Watch out spjeff69 you're <7 weeks away and the silent bwhite is about 9 weeks.

Not if you just slashed your output by 3 P4s. LOL :icon_lol:

Yeah, ur right. Didn't factor that in. :icon_redface:

Maybe I should try a Q6600 on it? How do I setup 4 instances, just 4 directories?

AMDave
08-26-2007, 05:58 AM
What?
You want me to tell you how to mow me down????

hehe
Yep 4 directories will do it.
You can assign them to each core via Task Manager or just let it do its thing.

She's going to run hot under the collar, though.
I'd watch your temps for the first day or so.
