PrimeGrid has added a new project to its prime search. It is now running three sub-projects. The new one is a Cullen-Woodall search: searching for large primes of forms n*2^n + 1 and n*2^n - 1.
Rytis has enabled project selection as well. Go to Your Account page and select PrimeGrid preferences. From there you can choose which projects to participate in:
-Twin prime search
-Woodall prime search
-Cullen prime search
-Primegen
The new project still has a few kinks to work out but it is progressing much faster than expected. It has completed all the test WU's so a sieve effort has begun. If anyone has a spare core for a week or so, we could really use your help. It's a manual but very easy process.
If you are interested, please PM or email me and I'll fill you in on the details.
Thanks!
John
