It's supposed to be out, I've found a sapphire variety in the store where I'm gonna order my new pc as pre-order for 230 euros.
By the way, the HD2900XT is end of life. Not immediately a problem since the pro will hold the fort until around new year when the 2950 is supposed to be released (unless i got misinformed)

I wish I had this kind of money to spend on graphics... I don't really play any games anymore, so there is no point.
I would buy one just to support AMD though :D

I'm gonna get 2 (probably needed for my huge 24 inch screen thats coming along) and well, boasting rights count a bit as well :icon_mrgreen:

I believe you can use these bad boys at folding@home, but I believe you have to leave about 50% of the CPU available to keep the video card busy. I run 100% WCG and whatever my video cards get done at folding at home is good enough for me. I'm hoping to see more projects take advantage of the GPU's.
