What is all that white stuff... I see it on tv all the time. I thought snow was an urban legend. We never get it in Texas... :(

I lived in Texas over 7 years, and in that time I seen snow 4 or 5 times. had rumors of other events, but by the time I woke up it was gone.
now I live in Michigan and drive a semi all over the mid-west, needless to say, I see lots of snow now.
Where I live in SC, I only see snow about once every 4 years or so. Then it barely covers the ground.

Oh by the way there liuqyn nice job breaking the 100,000 mark in Cosmology :blob3::blob3::blob3:
Bender10 those are awesome photos of the snow around your area, we got enough to call it dandruff today!

thanks, and it's actually easy to slow it down in snow, the trick is not to go fast to begin with.

I was "farmed out" once to Texas Inst. in Dallas and while I was there they got !/2 inch of snow. They called me and told me not to come to work! LMAO I took a drive down the LBJ expressway and the ditches were full of cars. I guess those Texans thought it was white sand. lol I did what every normal midwesterner would have done.... I got a six pack and drove around. Spent most of the morning laughing.
We has snow too here in the middle of Sweden but very little. In the north of Sweden there are sure 40 cm snow perhaps more. Small boys and girls love the snow. They has bobs and run down grades.:)

Yea, if it does snow or god forbid ice... Texas shuts down. Schools and businesses close. :) Gotta love us Texans!

Ah, the white stuff. I'm all too familiar with it up in WI. I used to live up in the NW part of the state closer to Lake Superior. That's where you get the "nice" lake effect conditions with 2+ feet in 24hrs. and well below zero temps:5cold:. My avatar gives a clue as to what car I drive... makes for real fun doughnuts!:icon_biggrin:

Dudes, I'm so coming over to the us! I really really really want snow, we never get any thick layers or anything and not every year. Do you think a Lancia Integrale would be enough fun to drive?:icon_razz:

I'm sure if it ever snows in Texas it will be a "bigger" snow than anywhere else.
