Vaughan it might be something you just set and forget, but for one year I have been with this project and look at my scoring! NO WHERE NEAR YOUR output, good lord man how many computers do you have in your depository?

Anyway nice job at accomplishing so much with your herd ! :icon_mrgreen: :blob3:

nice job, just passed 1 million myself, but had to shutdown for awhile due to isp problems. hopefully won't be gone long.

I should hit 1 million pretty soon, also. We're about 25 million behind the next team. So it's going to take a while to move up.

My computer crashed hard the other day and now Dimes is a pain in the butt to get started. I have to babysit it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it shuts down. It's annoying. So until I figure it out, my scores may be alot lower... :(

After a crash like that, my guess is your windows registry is shot.
If dimes is your only issue, I recommend you uninstall and then re-install the Java version you are using, then patch it, then uninstall & reinstall Dimes.

Dimes error's and Beerknurds frustrations. Listen I posted and just a few of you read the article, but the real McCoy is that I too was having serious difficulty lately with my Java.

I went to their site http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp and did the download of a fresh batch and hey all my frustrations are gone!

Beerknurd I am sure your frustrations will all go by the way side too. :icon_rolleyes:

I installed a fresh copy of java, and said a little prayer... It seems to be working, for now. My output still seems about 20,000 less per day then it was before the crash. I will look at it more in depth this weekend...

Thanks for the help guys!!!
