I do not believe any passwords were revealed. They gained access to the administration panel, however, they, nor I, can get passwords from there.

I was on the Boinc message boards and all of a sudden the site seemed to stop responding. Now I can't get to it at all.

keith, i just tried getting on the seti and boinc sites and cant see them now apart form predictor and LHC.
problems could still be going around :S, just wondering have we patched or repaired the way our attackers got in or is that still unknown ??

I did patch it. I have the newest version of Nuke-php...I even had to pay for this version. It includes all fixes known to date. I've also added a security code to the admin login panel. That way it would make it impossible to brute force the password.

just thinking maybe its worth losing the text at the bottom saying what version of nuke it is etc as this shows possible attackers what our security is and if there are flaws they know if they can get in or not.

I'm gonna be banned from this website.... She already thinks all I do on this thing is look at porn and and run stupid programs that use up cpu cycles. So then I told her at least i'm using the computer for something good. If I didn't use it for DC projects, then we just spent $1500 on a word processor. And that would be whack. If all she wanted was a word processor then i'll break out the Packard Bell 100 mghtz P.O.S. That thing takes 15 seconds to bring up a word document.
