Today when I was taking a break I was thinking about my trusty old athlon that now sits in some or other crappy case where the temps are horrid. I remembered people talking about mounting their hardware to the wall and started to create an idea of how my setup was going to look. I will also mount the harddrive, disk burners and psu to the wall. in a few hours work will begin. I will take some pictures during the transformation and also after its done and I'll put them in here. Keep an eye on this space guys :icon_wink:

only issue i need to resolve is the fact that my wireless nic wont receive a network while its almost next to the router.
EDIT: works now, only gets low connection. switched it off for the night

I was going to mount my old water cooled machine to a piece of plexiglas (acrylic sheet), but I never got round to it.

Temps improved 5-7 degrees celsius when in upright position, cant really figure out why, but lower temps equals happier me :)

sure is :icon_mrgreen: only thing is that my wireless card has difficulties connecting and I cant get an ethernet cable to where it sits and I dont want to move it around a lot so I cant update my d2ol client. so momentarily its shut off, but it will be powered on again soon :icon_wink:
