Nice rig, I'll bench mine one of these days as well. temps could be done through speedfan or coretemp. coretemps measurements are higher, so dont worry if you see a 10-15 degrees celsius diference between both :icon_wink:

You can use Core Temp Vaughan, I use it on all my PC's, Core Temp gives you your Maximum Temp Readings because it takes the Readings from the Center of the Die on the CPU > http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ ... It doesn't need to be installed, just download to a directory and create a shortcut ... :)

Thanks but "... Core Temp works on Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista (both 32bit and 64bit versions)"
Doomeva found LM sensors for Linux. The temps for the 4 cores are: 50,49,50,45C

I didn't know if it would work on Linux or not, now I know ... :)

Well, was sick with a rinovirus a few days - seeing things a bit backwards. What can I say?
Downloaded and ran Core Temp on my home system: 63C - 66C on each core with a TCaseMax of 63C - running Proteins and MJ-12 full out.
Comparing to PCAlert4; I noticed it displays about a degree lower than TCaseMax - or whatever the lower core temp is.

I am recovering from a cold, took Nyquil and I never made the similarity till this mention. I wondered what that word had in familiarity for use. Thanks Steve Lux for the catch :blob3: !!
