Hi guys, I'm Ralph, Original from across the world but living in the Philippines for a long long while now.. Well an Auzzy mate and myselft decided to buy an old 34ft banca boat(local made contraction supposed to fgloat and sail) very good in deed) Well been not only friend ands and brothers, we are also business partners , motorcycle riders buddy's and for the past two years proud owner of a banca boat.
We decoded to take off some 15 dyas ago and bring along our dirts bikes as well as our young girls friends. We also brought along our our GPS and an old Compaq Presario 700 to assist with navagation. Well to make the story short, we got into a storm, nearly escape a bunch of pirates (because of the weather, lost a bike over board, have the most exciting and delicious sex I have ever had in m,y 58 yrs, in the middle of a storm and almost lost to the depth of the Philippines sea, we started from Cebu on the way to Palawan, but for some reason ended almost 700 miles of course off the coast of Lingayen in Luzon. But with a smile on the face that will never be gone. We lost the boat, our GPOS was not working by the end our Precious P700 needs a complete overhaul, which I think that she deserved not matter the cost, We need a new butt cuz, we rode all the way from Dagupan to Leyte on a 200cc dirt bike just the 2 of us, the girls din't want nothing else to do with us after the ordeal. All in All it was fun and I'm enjouying a nice cold Red Horse beer, and to top it off my 10yr old was a chanp keeping my PC's running and reporting all the time, yes he got into problenm a few times with them but manage to call a mate to help him.

Now I really have a brand new smile, a complete new viuew of life and a much better appreciation of my familly.(yes my lovely and beautifull wife was not with me, but I can attest that now I really can appriciate how much she must love me and how much she care for me.

It was a trip to hell with an end in heaven. AMEN :icon_twisted::icon_twisted::icon_lol:

Borfil, thank you for sharing that with us.

Sorry to hear about the losses, but it seems that your gains have been greater.

You have "seized the day", "crossed the line", "taken it to the edge" and returned.
It has reminded me of the importance that "risk" plays in a full life.

I am glad that you made it back in one piece to share the story and make use of what you have learned.

Congratulations to your boy for taking on the responsibility and handling it well.
Knowing when to ask for help or advice is a good lesson to be learned when young.
He will do well.
