Just looked in my rearview and I see this image that just keeps growing. I hope it doesn't run me over. Good for the team though, up to 11th place and rising nicely.

Choo-Choo,

Ah, you noticed;

I was trying to sneak up on you. I guess that didn't work to well. :icon_twisted:

With several hundred tonnes of red hot steel a-Toot-Toot'n an' a-huff-a-puff'n, squealing round the bend and charging away from it's own self made clouds of steam and soot, its kind of hard to sneak up on anything!!! LOL

Keep at it Dave.
Stoke up yer boilers 'n aim for the mountain pass.

mitchellds
06-13-2008, 02:08 AM
heh heh, yup I'm just a a-huff-a-puff'n and chugging away...

liuqyn
06-13-2008, 10:48 AM
just stop teasing me, I watch the updates on free-dc's stats all day and we're running close, but then by the end of the day you got me doubled up.

mitchellds
06-14-2008, 02:23 AM
I see you've stepped up your game recently. Don't worry to much, I'm over 40 light days away from you at present speed. I might even run outta anti-matter first at the current East coast prices. Especially if I bring the upgraded engines online. That will really change my parsec's per hour. You shouldn't be able to even see me yet without real good long range sensors. You must have acquired some additional alien sensor tech to notice me so soon :icon_wink:

(hows that bit silly-ness for a tease?) heh heh

liuqyn
06-14-2008, 02:32 AM
I'm just about maxed out now, just finishing up and handful of WUs on other projects.

mitchellds
06-14-2008, 03:49 AM
I just added a ps3, how do these do on this project?

liuqyn
06-14-2008, 09:09 AM
roughly 2000-2500 a day. mine doesn't seam to be using all the cpu power though, maybe 65% not sure why, maybe optimization problems.

Bender10

Running YoYo on the PS3. Which project?

It looks like there are 3 you can choose from...

liuqyn
06-14-2008, 12:49 PM
it only runs cruncher

mitchellds
06-14-2008, 01:39 PM
hmm, your right, on yoyo my ps3 uses about 98% cpu, on PS3GRID it uses about 115% avg cpu. And on ps3grid avg credit is around 3500 per wu, but they also run about 25-30 hours.

Bender10
06-14-2008, 01:53 PM
Hmmm again, my PS3grid wu's run around 22 hours....

mitchellds
06-14-2008, 03:11 PM
your right, my guess was off, I see 22-23 hrs for completion times also when I actually checked

Bender10
06-14-2008, 10:40 PM
It just seems like forever....

mitchellds
06-15-2008, 02:14 PM
it does that. Especially for the impatient like me.

You know there is a heated contest in Yoyo Right now, why you ask!

When you put two team mates that like to roar more then creep up the stats. I think that Freight Train Coming announcement should have been to all the teams participating. Why, because we have the #1 ranking in RAC, and have moved up the overall ranking 3 notches in the last 4 days.

Wow mitchellds and Liuqyn you ROCK ! :blob3: :blob3: :blob3:

Thanks Nflight. I'm just playing with my toys a little. :)

liuqyn

thanks also, I just wish I had some more toys as right now I feel like a deer in the headlights just watching Mitchell charging right for me. :puppy_dog_eyes:

Your doing a pretty good job yourself there Liuqyn !! Nice output!

Dont Worry, I'm still over a month away, you still need binoculars to see me from this far away. :icon_wink:

This reminds me of the old Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour Cartoons. It was the Tasmanian Devil who could stir up such a cloud of dust from his antics of twisting and spinning cantankerously. One small insignificant little fellow could cause great dust storms. This is where I see Liuqyn's point of View.

mitchellds while we can't really see you in person as your a month away, your dust cloud is clearly rising to almost a mile/km vertically. This basic affect of site be told, you have our attention.

mitchellds/TAZ is it true you eat almost anything you see? :icon_mrgreen: :icon_lol:

I couldn't have said it any better myself, except to add the rumble I feel and hear from the distance.

side note- I got sidetracked this weekend running magnitism@home(which I now can't connect to report completed work). anyway, back up to full speed here again.

mitchellds
06-23-2008, 12:33 AM
well, I have been accused of being cantankerous on occasion ( OK.. fairly often) , and yes, if it taste good, I'll eat it. :icon_wink:

Hi Liuqyn (http://www.rechenkraft.net/yoyo/show_user.php?userid=70),

I see you've been real busy while I was off touring. I guess I'll come back and join you for a bit and see if I can get some of those fancy Yoyo badges I'm (S) lacking. :icon_wink:

liuqyn
04-08-2009, 01:38 AM
Welcome aboard, the more the merrier.

Please excuse my ignorance on this but what does the little star next to the badge signify?

liuqyn
04-08-2009, 11:25 AM
click on any badge and it will bring up a description of the whole system. basically, the badge means over 10k, the silver star means over 100k, gold star 500k, 2 gold stars 1m.

liuqyn

liuqyn
04-10-2009, 08:30 PM
my daily scores are going to drop for awhile, I'm working on the lower credit sub-projects.

mitchellds
04-12-2009, 02:49 PM
you must be going for that sub project evolution@home star

liuqyn
04-12-2009, 06:31 PM
focused on cruncher now, evo after that, then back to the better credit ones.

liuqyn
04-13-2009, 06:11 AM
changed my mind, going for evo star, then back to cruncher.

mitchellds
04-13-2009, 02:55 PM
nice, I wish other projects did this also, it adds some extra fun to it all.

Bok
04-13-2009, 03:53 PM
I totally agree. Makes it just a little more interesting.

After talking with the Yoyo admin, I've coded in the extra data he is putting out for the subprojects as well as the badges...

I've put them on the User page (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=user&proj=yoy&name=2476) with the subproject breakdown as well as the Combined User page (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=23b79a93175ae3d2c51aac2b9396e362) for now.

Will code up some individual subproject pages today/tomorrow.

I've got 3 of the badges already too :)

Very cool Bok !

Those are some nice looking graphs you use in your stats page btw.

also, I noticed that your "stats" link in your sig doesn't work for me. I get a "STATS4 pages are no longer being maintained please goto.." error

also, I just noticed that "Seeker" series that's be on the air. I get it on the Sci-Fi channel I read all of those Terry Goodkind books. I thought they were pretty good.

Bok
04-13-2009, 05:54 PM
oops, old links. I just fixed them :)

Yes, I enjoyed the SOT books a lot, series was a little disappointing but I guess I've enjoyed it in it's own right.
