Think it works well now? Try it with the Beta of WinXP64. It flat sails :transformer:

And that is how many cEMs/sec? LOL I may have to give XP64 a shot.

talking of that there is a new version of longhorn beta available to download - apparently it has some new and improved stuff form the previous beta --- that took 1 hour to boot ?????? hopefully that will be reduced by release date lol :P

Yeah, I have spent too much of my life with things that didn't work. Anymore I am patient and give things plenty of time. I plan to give Linux another shot in about 10 years. LOL Maybe then it will be easy to use and have lots of game support. :P

I started 2 instances and will be hitting the 3M mark with 1 PC. I have to say that this kicks much ass!!!!!

with this new 17 support i think we should stick with it for a bit longer, unless people are tired of it. beer is now pushing 3 meg and DMMc is going from strength to strength (currently pushing about 8meg). this is insance and had virtually doubled our production capabilities, so i suggest we keep 17 as the main project for a little bit and see how we go.

** 30terabyte is the next position and we could hit that pretty soon

If only I didn't have so many Athlon XPs and P3s. LOL Maybe I need to pick up some cheap P4s of any speed. Wait, did I say that out loud?! :P

some of the atholon 64's ar5e also quite cheap, the 3000+ being about the same price as a 3000+/3200+ XP. so that wouldnt break the bank and also most people here definatley prefer AMD

Being an AMD user and supporter for a good many years now has taught me 2 important lessons.
1. Performance is NOT based on cost alone.
2. No matter what you do, code is written with a bias in Intel’s favor.

In daily operations the AMDs in my systems run circles around the Intel’s and give me allot less grief.

I truly believe that Satan came up with the Celeron...They are a waste of silicon.

Need some help.

I upgraded to SSE2 on two of my pentium 4 computers. The speed result was great, but for some reason I am not showing the results from those two computers on the website. Everything looks like it is working ok, just no results seem to be posted. :-(

Yes, you've been constant at 700 all day.

It might be a stupid question, but are the Intel machines in amdusers?

I upgraded 1 machine, my stats jumped up like someone put 50,000 volts thu em. :)

That may be the problem. My other machines were not assigned to a team they just picked up the team from my profile. I will try this and see.

When I first started with the new client the first 2 k/n pairs I recieved were very low n values, I think there was a glich with the servers as they were <1m (n). these were finshed over a year ago. So when reporting there was no increase in my statistics. may be the samething happening on your machines?

Well that is as should be then.....was just a thought. I can find no mention of your particular problem on the support forum, yet.
