New Project

And the server status: http://boinc.math.ucalgary.ca/sheti/server_status.php

Questions and Answers; http://www.bc-team.org/printview.php?t=442&start=0 This one looks to be another Math Project of some sort!

Our team has been created for this project. The upload/download server is currently not running so no work is available at the moment.

It has to be on purpose... I don't believe they didn't think of the "sound" of the project name when they came up with the it. :icon_lol:

Sheti is a research project that uses Internet-connected computers to solve the 131-bit Certicom ECC Challenge (http://www.certicom.com/index.php/the-certicom-ecc-challenge). The challenge is about solving an elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem.

Seems that there has been some WUs flowing, some teams already have credits.

This project is only for penguins yet... :-(

I have tried several times to join this project.

Great news.

Today I have successfully joined via the BOINC Manager and attached 4 *nix machines.
No work units available at the moment, but I should have something to report back in the next week (we hope).

Team is still at zero credits... could anyone try and steal a WU or two for the sake of the Team? :)
